The high-pressure, oftentimes polemical French rap music grouping Supreme NTM was formed in 1989 by Dee Nasty, Joeystarr, and Koolshen with their DJ, Détonateur S. They debuted one year later on with a caterpillar track on the compilation Rapattitude and their low single, "Le Monde de Demain." Authentik, the Supreme NTM debut full-length, appeared in 1991, and the grouping made their American live debut later on that year. The album was followed 2 age later by 1993... J'appuis Sur la Gâchette, which brought them to the attention of the French gendarmes (a la NWA and Ice-T/Body Count) with a song dynasty named "Police force." The group's third record album, 1995's Paris Sous Les Bombes, became their nearly successful, just as well earned them a fresh bout of arguing. The song dynasty "Plus Jamais Ça" was an anti-National Front (the fascist/anti-immigrant motion lED by Jean Marie Le Pen) broadside that got Supreme NTM six-month prison house sentences for playing it at a concert in a city in southern France with a just-elected National Front city manager (sunglasses of Public Enemy). Suprême NTM followed in 1998, eclipsing its precursor in gross sales and earning raves for its comprehension of a new generation of French rappers (like Lord Kossity).

Joe Jonas Admits To Cheryl Cole Crush
The middle Jonas sibling - who has previously admitted to having the hots for Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, also 18 - has his sights set on new X-Factor judge Cole, despite the age gap.
He says, "Oh my God, Cheryl Cole! All of Girls Aloud are beautiful but Cheryl is just like, wow!
"British girls are great and I think their accent is very cute. We've spent quite a bit of time in the U.K. over the last few months and we love it. We feel at home when we come to the U.K."
The Jonas Brothers: Have They Peaked?
On Friday night, following months of anticipation (by teenagers) and pants-shitting fear (by us), the Jonas Brothers' new movie, Camp Rock, premiered on the Disney Channel. Like many, we were terrified that massive ratings for Rock would signal the beginning of the Jonaspocalypse and things would be irrevocably changed and life on earth would forever be 1,000 percent more Jonas-y. But, according to Nielsen, Friday's broadcast drew a scant 8.9 million viewers, and a reairing the following night attracted a measly 3.6 million.
Now, granted, the Jonas' armies (like all teenagers) are watching their media exclusively on cell phones and Websites these days, so ratings, in any form quantifiable by adults, are meaningless, and it's entirely possible that Camp Rock could already have been viewed more times than Star Wars. Still, last year's premiere of Disney's High School Musical 2 was seen live on actual televisions by 17.3 million people, which makes us believe that if we survived the Great Efron Scare of 2007, we'll also survive the Jonas Brothers.

Franz Ferdinand album delayed
Kapranos admitted that their untitled LP, a follow-up to 2005's You Could Have It So Much Better, has been pushed back to early next year.
He told BBC 6 Music: "We've still got quite a bit of mixing to do but because we don't really know how long it's going to take, we're going to put the release date back a bit.
"I can't see it coming out this year. I think it's more likely to come out in January or something like that."
The singer also confessed that the bandconsidered calling the album Bite Hard, but were forced to drop the name due to potential misinterpretation in the US.
"[Bite Hard is] quite suggestive but apparently in the States if you say something 'bites' it means it sucks, so if something bites hard, it sucks really badly. So we thought, 'No we'll choose another title,'" he explained.

Baldwin on divorce
Hollywood star Alec Baldwin is dishing the dirt on his divorce in a new self-help book for single fathers. Baldwin was banned by a court order from delving too deep into his split from Kim Basinger, which was made legal in 2002.
He explains in the opening pages of A Promise To Ourselves: Fatherhood, Divorce and Family Law, What follows will disappoint those who hoped to find a gossipy, salacious tale of a show business marriage gone bad. Instead he attacks the family court system, which he says has kept him apart from Ireland, his 12-year-old daughter with the actress.
He adds, It is a system that is corrupt on his best day. It is like being tied to the back of a pickup truck and dragged down a gravel road late at night. No one can hear your cries and complaints and it is not over until they say it's over.
Baldwin did find time to take a swipe at Basinger at a bash on Friday, telling guests, My ex-wife reaches an almost sexual level of satisfaction when shes in a room full of high-priced lawyers.
